Lehmann Jigger Toy.   There are various versions of this toy.  Alabama, Tombo, and various manufacturers Strauss and Co. etc.  Bottom Leg, Tin. At Classic Tin Toy Co. we are sensitive to the historical significance of toys that many people do have valid issues with.  It must be stated that early tin toys depicted African Americans in negative and vicious stereotypes and  freedom from these stereotypes is still at issue today.  We take the view that we should not shy away from what is uncomfortable but should use it to remind us how far we have come and how far we have yet to travel towards equality and liberty.
